Reddog Sportfishing offers a wide range of angling adventures specializing on the world class trout and salmon fishery of Lake Ontario, from the early spring fishery off Port Weller to the summer/fall fishery off the Toronto skyline.
Fishing for Coho salmon, Lake and Steelhead trout up to 20lbs., Brown trout in the 5 to 15lbs. class, to the Chinook salmon that hits with up to 30+ lbs. of pure power will make your heart skip a few beats when that King hits the deck.

Target Species
Chinook Salmon
The Chinook is the beast of the Great Lakes. This highly sought after game fish of pure power is renowned for its long tackle busting runs.
They weigh at maturity anywhere from 20lbs. to over 30 lbs.
With King salmon being very light sensitive, the peak fishing time is first light and dusk.
Coho Salmon
Coho provide an exciting alternative to the King. They are known to be very aggressive on the bite, with tangles and break offs quite common. They offer a real challenge when you have multiple hits. In spite of the chaos, Coho are a lot of fun!
Average weights are 5lbs. to 12lbs.
Steelhead Trout
Steelhead are my personal favorite species to catch.
Peak season is from mid August to the end of the season. Fishing the Blue Zone, that stretch of water 300' and deeper, Steelhead provide a spectacular fight with tail walking and majestic leaps.
Average weights are 5 to 15lbs.
